Biography of Craig Westbrook
Craig Westbrook has 40 years' experience in the fields of retirement plans, employee benefits, qualified and non-qualified deferred compensation, and estate planning. He received his B.B.A. and J.D. from Baylor University. He is a past chairman of the Tax Section of the Arkansas Bar Association, the Central Arkansas Estate Council and Southeast Region EP/EO Liaison Committee and past member of the Gulf States TE/GE Employee Plans Council. He has published articles on taxation and employee benefits in the Journal of Taxation, The Arkansas Lawyer, UALR Law Journal, The Journal of Pension Planning and Compliance, Issues and Trends in Benefits Planning and The Pension Actuary. He is listed in Best Lawyers in America in the categories of Employee Benefits (since 1989) and Tax Law. He is the 2012 Best Lawyers’ Lawyer of the Year in Employee Benefits Law and the 2014 Best Lawyers’ Lawyer of the Year in Tax Law for Little Rock. He is also listed in Mid-South Super Lawyers in the Employee Benefits category and is included in Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers in the category of Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation.
